TYROLEN
CARAVAN HOTEL
CLOSED FOR THE SEASON – REOPENING SUMMER 2026
Welcome to a truly original accommodation experience in the heart of Småland, where 1960s dance-park nostalgia meets a modern focus on sustainability.
In summer 2025 we opened a small-scale, environmentally conscious hotel on wheels. Guests stay in six charming caravans, all built using reclaimed materials and each with its own story. Every detail reflects care, creativity, and respect for what already exists.
Tyrolen Caravan Hotel is a place for relaxation, inspiration, and experiences. With the iconic Tyrolen park next door and forests and lakes just around the corner, it offers a setting where history blends with new experiences and every stay becomes memorable.
PLEASE NOTE:
Independent accommodation: The caravan hotel operates independently from Tyrolen’s event activities. This means you can book accommodation even when the park itself is closed. The Tyrolen park is generally only open during scheduled events. If you stay during an event, music and activity from the park may continue late into the evening.
Accessibility: At present, accessibility for guests with reduced mobility is limited. Please contact us if you would like more information before booking.
Little Joe’s Caravan
Our most whimsical caravan features a façade of small windows in varying shapes, creating a light-filled mosaic effect. Inside you’ll find a warm, cosy space with soft lighting, natural materials, and cleverly designed surfaces.
There is a double bed (160 cm) on the ground level plus a snug loft bed (90 cm), ideal for an extra guest or children. Outside, a private terrace offers morning sun and views across the caravan area. 8 m² of charm, small in size, big in atmosphere.
Thor’s Bedford Blitz
One of our most distinctive rooms is built on top of a classic 1970s Bedford Blitz vehicle. The bright interior features a large panoramic window that blurs the boundary between indoors and nature. Colourful windows nod to both the vehicle’s heritage and the joyful spirit of traditional Swedish folk parks.
Sleep literally above the vehicle in a comfortable loft double bed (120 cm), with an additional single bed (90 cm) at ground level, ideal for couples or small families.
Lill-Babs Hälsinge Caravan
A cosy caravan with a characteristic curved shape and a vibrant interior. The walls are hand-painted by a local artist, inspired by traditional decorative farmhouse art from Hälsingland, creating a lively blend of cultural heritage and creativity.
Two single beds (90 cm) are located on the main level, plus a third bed in the loft — perfect for friends or a small family. 9 m² of character, colour, and a tribute to Swedish pop icon Lill-Babs.
Sven-Ingvars Caravan
One of our most spacious and expressive caravans, complete with its own kitchenette. High ceilings, charming windows, and retro-inspired colours create a joyful, welcoming atmosphere.
There is a double bed (140 cm) on the main level and two single beds (80 cm) in the loft, making it suitable for families or small groups. The kitchenette includes water and a hob for simple cooking.
Svenne och Lottas Love Caravan
A romantic retreat designed for peace and privacy. A heart-shaped window and newly treated wooden floor set the tone, while the double bed (140 cm) is surrounded by forest views.
Natural daylight fills the space, creating the feeling of sleeping close to nature while still enjoying comfort and seclusion. Ideal for couples seeking calm, or anyone wanting a quiet escape
Siw Malmkvist’s Caravan
A joyful, colourful caravan designed to delight guests of all ages. Playful windows bring in light from all directions, while cheerful interior details create a lively atmosphere.
The bunk bed includes a wider lower bed (120 cm) and an upper single bed (80 cm), making it ideal for small families or friends. Outside, a private terrace overlooks the heart of the caravan area.
